MODEL LD10 LOG DECK EXTENSION

The LD10EXT Live Deck Extension is used when extra production capacity is needed. You can load extra logs on the live deck to extend the time spent operating your processor without having to get out and load. This also will give the log loader or operator more productive time to do other jobs, not having reload the live deck as often.

The heavy duty Multitek LD10EXT live-deck includes; Inner and outer arm, a stringer weldment, rectangular tube support arms and cross tubes for a rugged superstructure.  It includes four supports and brackets for handling the every day loading and unloading. The supports have screw type levelers for easy setup when working on uneven ground. Multitek uses heavy-duty roller bearing chain, which includes four loops for each arm. Large diameter shaft size and 4 drive sprockets, 4 idler sprockets, and a main shaft drive sprockets. The live deck extension uses the same hydraulic power as the regular live deck. The live deck extension also can move forward and backward as the operator requires to get the logs advanced to the processor log trough.

The 10' Live Deck extension is available on Multitek 16 series, 20 seires and 3040 series of machinery.
