NEW SPLITTER AUTO-CYCLE AVAILABLE ON 2020 SERIES

Prentice, Wisconsin (June 15, 2001) - New machine orders for the Multitek Series 2020’S
including the model’s 2020LDCS, 2025LDCS, C2025LDCS and 2025XFC Firewood Processors are now being manufactured with splitter hydraulic controls with auto-cycle. This splitter auto-cycle had previously been only available as a very popular standard feature on the high performance Model 2040XP2 and 3040XP-90. The processor operator can now engage the splitter hydraulic control and allow the splitter to make a round trip cycle with one hand movement. At the end of the round trip splitting cycle it will stop and be awaiting the next splitter start cycle. The cycle time for the splitter will remain at about 5 seconds round trip on a 24” stroke. This feature will streamline your operation by allowing the processor operator to concentrate on the in-feed of the next log and sawing of the next cut round block to be split. Auto-cycle will help reduce operator fatigue by eliminating multiple hand movements. For safety purposes the split cycle can be interrupted and the push pad will return to the start or home position.
